TRIBUTE TO THE ANCESTORS OF THE MIDDLE PASSAGE FUNDRAISER

  

IN CELEBRATION OF AFRICAN HISTORY MONTH & WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH

 

On Saturday, February 25, 2006 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the Medgar Evers College Auditorium, 1650 Bedford Avenue, the MEC Student Government Association, People of the Sun-Middle Passage Collective, the Black History Month Committee, and the Women’s History Month Committee will hold our Annual Fundraiser for the 17th Tribute to Our Ancestors of the Middle Passage to be held in June.
 

We will present the African Spirit Award to the Honorable Dr. Adelaide Sanford, New York State Regent. 
 

The event will include FASHION SHOW 2006 and feature top designers Moshood, Raif, AKEEM, and Annette with special performances by Kowteff, Shanto, and Crown Heights Youth Collective. Fashion Show 2006 also includes an African Market Place.
